Living it Up has been designed with people across Scotland who want to get more out of life. We know there is a lot of information to take in so here are our top ten links to tools which have been designed to help you stay healthier, happier and safer:

HAPPIER

  • Shine: Keen to get involved in your community? Reflect on your skills with our quiz and find opportunities near you.
  • Discover: Search for information about what’s happening nearby - including health support groups, crafts, music, exercise and much more.
  • Community Challenge: Track your daily real life activity and record it online to count towards achieving a virtual challenge.

HEALTHIER

  • COPD and Diabetes: Watch videos from health care professionals and people living with these conditions for support to help you manage better.
  • Experience Guides: Get ideas and tips on living with a health condition or navigating life changes. Share your ideas too
  • Activity Log: Track everything from the steps you take as you walk to the shops, to the time you spend cleaning.

SAFER

  • Person Held File: Store key health and care information online. You can then share this information with family, health / care professionals.
  • Care Coordination Diary: An online diary to help you and/or your carer to coordinate the health and care agencies who support you.
  • Falls assistant: An online tool that has been specifically designed to help you stay steady on your feet and prevent falls.
  • Staying safe online: Improve your digital confidence with guides and videos that outline how to use Skype, Facebook and health monitoring apps.

We hope to expand to cover more of Scotland over the coming years and will update the website as this happens. If you do not live in a Living it Up area you can still make use of our website and digital tools - just select 'other' when asked for your region.

Living it Up has been funded by the Scottish Government, Innovate UK, Highlands & Islands Enterprise and Scottish Enterprise.

Living it Up has been developed and managed by a consortium of technology experts, digital health specialists, service providers and innovators. NHS 24 has been appointed by the Scottish Government to provide overall leadership, co-ordination, programme management and financial governance for the project.
